Home is where the heart is for international winger Shane Williams. The Amman Valley is where he learnt his craft, played his first competitive rugby game and where he continues to live with his young family. But now, he's coaching the local youth team and S4C's cameras are there to capture every move he makes.

In Clwb Rygbi Shane, Shane faces the prospect of establishing and mentoring a new youth team for his old club, Amman United, with a little help from his friends in rugby.

We follow the squad's development during the season. But how will the team fare at the start of their new journey and can they recreate the successes of the past?

Along the journey, we'll get to know the colourful characters on hand to help Shane – those responsible for running the club on a day-to-day basis – and the difficulties they face. The likes of John Vince (team manager), Carl (the team's young coach), Darril (Club Chair), Elinor (Club Steward) and the young players Dingram, Twomey, Ceri and Breckon will be introduced and followed as they work hard to ensure success.
